[PFW ] Printer Initialization Error
You could receive a " Printer Initialization Error" when trying to print to a Novell Print Queue. When Platinum is installed on a Novell Server and the PAS is on a NT Server or NT Workstation using the following printer setup.
No Net Use commad for this printer has been setup on the PAS
In PFW Printer Setup Device: LPTx, Page:66 Ascii Code: UTZPRT66
Computer Name:(Novell Server) Printer Name:(Novell Print Queue)
Printing is successful using the same printer setup if the PAS is on a DOS workstation
or if a Net Use statement is issued on the PAS(NT Server or workstation) to this printer and the Computer Name and Printer Name fields are left blank in the PFW Printer Setup.
