Setting up a Network Printer in Platinum.
1) Capture the Printer in the User bat file or the Login Script. E.G
CAPTURE S=PLATINUM1 Q=PRINTQ1 L1 NB NFF TI=100
or N.T
Net Use LPT1: \\PLATINUM1\PRINTNAME
2)Now in Platinum Printer Maintenance you must set up the following:

Note that Network Computer Name and Printer Name are left blank.
This is because the printer is already captured.
When you print a report etc you will see the IBM Pro Printer as a choice.
When you select this it will print to Printq1 on Platinum1.
Platinum for Windows
1) Log in as Admin and go to Platinum Printer Setup.
2) Give the Printer a unqiue Printer Key. E.G. 01
3) Now give it a device , page length and ASCII Code File Such as below.
4) Leave Network Printer Name and Network Computer Name blank if you have captured the Printer through Novell (NetWare) or NT.
5) The Initiate, Terminate codes will as be left blank if you are using and ASCII Code File.
