With regard to this error, the suggested solution is as follows:

Exit from Platinum.

Locate the PLT.CFG file in the Platinum directory.

Edit the PLT.CFG with any text editor so that the only information in the file is
Y BTRIEVE -
Once the file is edited, save it and reboot the workstation.

Start Platinum once again and resume the data conversion.
