Error 0-- Sort Error During Index Generation

There are a few things to check on regarding an error 0:

· Try and recover the file that is being accessed during the procedure you are trying to do.

· Make sure you have adequate conventional memory to run the process - depending on the process you will need as much as 500K bytes free before accessing Platinum.

· In your CONFIG.SYS file, check to see if you are using an Expanded Memory Manager. If you are and are using an address for memory, remove that address pointer and replace with NOEMS, re-boot and try the procedure again.

· If you are running on the NLM version 5.15 and are using Brequest 6.1 - this will cause the error. Replace Brequest with a 5.16 or 6.0 version, or use Btrieve.EXE dated 10-15-91, or upgrade your version of the NLM to 6.10c, MAX.

· Try the same process from another work station or in a different company to see if the problem lies in the workstation or data vs program files.
