Norton Anti-virus hangs Platinum when generating an index for a report
Problem:
- Situation 1) When they tell PFD to generate the Provisional Financial Statements,
Solution:
Most likely the client is running Norton's Anti-Virus (NAV) on the Windows workstation. Turn off the Anti-virus and test to see that the report will run correctly. If it corrects the problem, modify NAV to exclude the PFD directory & sub-directories on those workstations which are having the problem.
