Internal Error

There are only three (3) reasons for getting an internal error, within platinum. They are as follows :

1. The amount of conventional memory you are using is too small. You need approx. 480 Kbytes of conventional memory to run platinum. If you are using xtrieve you would need approx. 510 Kbytes. If you are running Frx you would need about 516 Kbytes. If you have not got any of the above amounts of memory, try running memaker ( a DOS program). Or else manually reconfigure you autoexec and config.sys to load TSR’S ( Terminate and Stay Resident programs) and other devices, high.

2. Wrong version of a program file is being used.

3. EMM386.exe ( with parameters) in the config.sys is loading Platinum/Btrieve into expanded memory, or extended memory. Change the line to include noems.
